Mandatory captains meeting:
A MANDATORY captains meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 9th at Scoreboards in Waterbury. We will start promptly at 7:30pm. If the captain cannot make it, a representative from that team must attend in their place. Summer Packets will be passed out at the meeting, as well as dues collection. Player Dues will be $25 per person regardless of division.
An Informational DARTCONNECT tutorial will take place at this meeting, so all players looking to get more information on how to properly use that platform are welcome and encouraged to attend regardless of caption title.
A Division Draft Pick:
The “Captain” title will rotate through players on a weekly basis, ensuring that no two captains face off against each other more than once. Each captain will receive a list of eligible players and will alternate their picks until all players have been drafted to their respective teams for the night. To kick things off, a coin flip will determine who will be the “Home Captain”. The Home Captain will have the advantage of being the first to select a Draft Player, and they will also have the option to take or pass on the 5th player to the other team when applicable. Additionally, the Home Captain will fill out the roster paper first and will be responsible for sending a picture of the scoresheet to NHDL at the end of the night via email or text. The “Away Team” will call the coin flip for each game.
Note: A Division will not have playoffs at the end of the season. However, multiple Specialty Draft Inspired awards will be presented at the Summer Banquet.
*A Division will follow the below outline for the New Format*
New Format:
Teams must consist of at least 4 players, featuring singles 501 and cricket, doubles matches, and an 801 quad game. This new structure enhances match play, and increases playing spots allowing for larger team rosters while making it easier for smaller teams to participate. Teams are not required to downsize; however, they have the option to mix things up if they wish.
A Division: Best of 3 - 20 points total, B & Super B: 2x each - 40 points total, C Division: 2x each - 32 points total
*Please note that C Division will not include Cricket singles.*
7:30 PM match time with 15 minute forfeit grace period
Schedule & Statistics Update:
We will not be using YourLeagueStats this season. Home Captains are required to email or text a clear picture of the scoresheet to the league, ensuring all scores, names, Allstars, and other relevant details are visible. This must be submitted by Noon Friday. No further action is required after submission. Our league Statistician will post Stats & Standings on THIS WEBSITE on the Statistics page, providing a centralized location for tracking this season's progress. We encourage all Home & Away Captains to review the site for accuracy promptly.
Copies of schedules will be passed out in captains packets and posted on this website as well.
A note from your Executive Board Members…
We are using this summer as a test run. Please note that the official NHDL Rule Book may contain some contradictory information during this period. We appreciate your patience as we provide everyone with the opportunity to test these rules. This approach allows us to gather valuable feedback before making any permanent updates to the Rule Book. If you have any questions, please reach out to us via text, email, or the Contact Us page.
Contacting the League
If you have an inquiry or need assistance, please contact the league directly. It’s important to reach out to the league for general questions or concerns, as this will help us address your needs more efficiently. Please avoid contacting board members directly on their personal phones unless it is a time-sensitive emergency. This protocol ensures that issues are handled by the appropriate personnel and reduces delays in communication. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Reach a board member via text, call, or email anytime!
We will get your message to the proper board member, and they will reach out in a timely manner.
